The second edition of the Forum builds on the platform of the transformational potential of Big Data established at the inaugural iteration. It explores Big Data science, education, and the readiness of Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean to solve big data challenges; how newer big data technologies can be harnessed to develop more efficient sectors and data ecosystems; and the science of software technologies, distributed parallel processing frameworks and web-based software. The 2nd Forum is proposed as a virtual two-day event, November 30th - December 1st, 2021 with a mix of panel discussions, keynotes, and case study presentations.
